Import Bookmarks

Import Bookmarks is a process in which bookmarks are copied from one browser related program and written into another. This procedure was developed so a user would not have to manually build a favorites database in a newly installed program by visiting each and every web site individually to construct a favorite's database.

Import bookmarks is an extremely convenient procedure that has been refined in TidyFavorites by streamlining the process and allowing multiple browsers to write the favorites database into the TidyFavorites centralized database simultaneously with just a few clicks of the mouse. An added convenience when using the TidyFavorites method is the ability for the user to delete bookmarks that are no longer needed before the Import Bookmarks process is initiated.
